Fashion is timeless in the latest collection fronted by the Brazilian supermodel
Summer is here, and with it comes a new addition to the Burberry TB Summer Monogram, a collection designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci supplemented by an opulent campaign featuring Brazilian supermodel and V’s most recent cover star, Gisele Bündchen.
First introduced in August 2018, the Thomas Burberry monogram was designed by Tisci and British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville. Past campaign ambassadors include Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Naomi Campbell.
Imagined through the lens of Luigi & Iango, the TB Summer Monogram campaign stars a candid and elegant Bündchen posing in front of unreleased black and white portraits photographed by the duo ten years prior.
“I was so happy to see Riccardo again after such a long time and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast,” Bündchen said. “It was so special spending time with everyone, we had so much fun on set.”
A seamless blend of archival and modern, Burberry combines the iconic check pattern with the TB monogram. The collection includes womenswear (trench coats, blouses, wool-blend cardigans, polo shirts, T-shirts, hoodies, cropped tops, leggings, eyewear and swimwear) and menswear (sweatshirts, Oxford shirts, silk-blend bomber jackets, hooded jackets and wool sweaters).
Accessories to round out the collection include bucket hats, baseball caps, tote bags, high-top sneakers, leather pumps, neoprene sandals, sunglasses and a jacquard-woven towel.
