Louis Vuitton dressed Renate Reinsve, Hoyeon, Bradley Cooper, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Cynthia Erivo, Chloe Moretz, and Phoebe Dynevor, who are either ambassadors or friends of the house for the 2022 Met Gala which took place on Monday (May 2), where they walked the red carpet alongside Emma Stone and Gemma Chan.

They either wore an archival or previously worn look with a twist for the occasion.

I thought I had the measure of Renate Reinsve’s style since her appearance at the 2022 BAFTAs, but every time I see her, she gives us something new.

Continuing to move into an edgier style with her newfound love for leather, the actress wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2020 cape, styled with leather trousers from the Fall 2014 collection.

Renate looks incredible despite not being on theme, yet I wish this was saved for a Marvel movie premiere since it has a slight futuristic vibe to it.

Hoyeon in Louis Vuitton - 2022 Met Gala

Hoyeon’s Critics’ Choice Awards Louis Vuitton look would’ve been better suited to this event because this Louis Vuitton Resort 2017 dress has “after-party” written all over it.

Bradley Cooper Louis Vuitton Met Gala 2022

Bradley Cooper’s Louis Vuitton suit is well-cut, and I love the elegance and modernity he presents by not wearing a tie, but this is the Met Gala, and just showing up isn’t enough.

It’s hard to fully appreciate this when the effort is non-existent.

Sophie Turner in Louis Vuitton 2022 Met Gala

Even though Sophie Turner is sporting flame red hair, my first thought was Morticia Addams.  I guess that’s on account of the makeup

The British actress kept things simple wearing a Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 embroidered gown which looks like a comfortable maternity look if nothing else.

Unlike Bradley Cooper, Joe Jonas at least attempted to level up and commit to the theme wearing Louis Vuitton Spring 2022 womenswear tailcoat which was oozing plenty of flare.

Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton 2022 Met Gala

Cynthia Erivo’s love affair with Louis Vuitton continued with this Spring 2022 lace gown styled with a one-of-a-king headpiece which was created with reused Louis Vuitton cut-offs.

As beautiful as this is, and while I admire the African references, I don’t think I will remember this when it comes to my roundup at the end of the week.

Chloe Grace Moretz wore an exquisite Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 embellished tailcoat, which this look relied on heavily because the rest of the look fell flat for me.

Phoebe Dynevor in Louis Vuitton - 2022 Met Gala

Here is me wondering if Phoebe Dynevor and Sophie Turner have the same hairstylist.

The British actress, who still feels like one of the newest faces of the brand, wore a reworked Louis Vuitton Spring 2022 black lace dress which despite being one of her best looks in LV, didn’t embrace the theme.

Yes, neither did any of the LV attendees, but I was expecting a little bit more from her.

If you’re having a case of deja vu, that’s because Agathe Rousselle wore the original dress to the ‘Titane’ London Film Festival premiere back in October.
