Tap In! Saweetie announces an Icy collaboration with Crocs.
Finally, a collaboration from Saweetie! The rapper announced her partnership with shoe brand Crocs on Tuesday, showing off her limited-edition designs on Instagram.
The collection mostly revolves around Jibbitz, the decorative charms made to fit inside the signature holes in the Crocs design. Called Icy Jibbitz, a nod to Saweeties’ nickname “Icy Girl,” the collection includes five special Jibbitz, with designs like a snowflake, a butterfly, and a charm that says “Tap In.” Saweetie became the face of Crocs last October, so this collaboration isn’t overly surprising.
“My fans can now put the icing on any outfit using the Jibbitz charms I designed alongside Crocs—one of my favorite brands and one that values self-expression as much as I do,” Saweetie said in a statement.
Fans can chose between two Crocs styles: the icy blue Saweetie x Crocs Classic Clog, or the furry pink Saweetie x Crocs Classic Cozy Sandals.
To shop the collection, Crocs created a virtual store, complete with background music and a digital avatar of Saweetie welcoming fans to the store. Check out the virtual store here.
Saweetie has fans on the edge of their seats waiting for her debut full-length album, Pretty Bitch Music, which sill has no release date.
