In partnership with Banana Republic & Shopstyle

What to wear to a wedding this summer? This is a popular topic request, so I’m excited to be partnering with Banana Republic today to share about their Wedding and Event line–perfect for any dressy summer soiree–from a wedding, rehearsal dinner, gala, you name it. They have tons of pretty dresses to choose from–including the one I’m wearing here. Their dresses come in so many beautiful build colors AND, get this–also come in petite and tall sizes–which I know can be really hard to find! Also, if you’re searching for some new stylish occasion-wear for your guy, make sure to check out their snazzy mens collection as well!

Let’s chat more about this pretty yellow dress, and get into more favorite wedding guest dress picks below–shall we!?

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this silhouette as I don’t own anything this shape, but it turns out I LOVE it. It moves sooo beautifully, I could not stop twirling around my house when I tried it on. The fabric also isn’t solid–there’s just a tiny hint of a floral pattern which I think makes it extra interesting! I love the happy bright yellow, which is great for any formal summer occasion. It also comes in other bold colors–like a green and a royal blue! (I know many of you are suckers for a bold royal blue!)

It’s also versatile–it could work for both black tie optional and cocktail attire, meaning you’ll likely get quite a bit of wear out of it! (Fun fact: I always repeat dresses at weddings, especially if they’re differing groups of friends–so I love a dress that can work for different types of wedding dress codes!)

Sizing: I took my regular size small, but also could’ve probably gone with an XS too. If you’re in between I’d go with the smaller size, not the larger.

Worn with: Similar hoop earrings, similar cuff bracelet
