Bvlgari hosted a gala dinner to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and unveil the ‘Jubilee Emerald Garden’ high jewellery set at Westminster Abbey on Friday (July 1) in London.

British actress Lashana Lynch wore The Vampire’s Wife The Midnight Garden lamé dress, which is recognisable from the fabric to the ruffled hemline.

As you know I’m very much a stickler when it comes to the right look to showcase the jewels, and I don’t believe the square neckline was the right choice for her Bvlgari necklace.

This piece needed a plunging neckline.

Aside from that, the clutch and the shoes (especially) aren’t right for this dress.

The mixed metal clutch is jarring, and the shoes are too Fall-like, and too heavy for this lightweight dress.

Honestly.  This kinda feel thrown together, which is a shame as I’m always rooting for Lashana.

Talulah Riley decided to throw caution to the wind and wear this stunning Jenny Packham embellished Bright Gem gown which has you wondering where does the dress ends and where does the jewelry begin because she dazzled from head-to-ankles.

I say ankles as I’m struggling to get on board with her gold Louboutin platforms.

While I like Hannah Dodd’s Carolina strapless layered lime green dress from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection, I didn’t like the accessories.

This vibrant hue was begging for better shoes and better styling overall.  This was potential wasted.

Imagine wearing black pumps with a dress like this.  Oh right, I don’t have to imagine.
