Kim Kardashian Has a Backup Plan for ‘When This All Goes to Shit’

Kim Kardashian has clearly never felt the need to constrain herself to a single career path or income stream. So who’s surprised that should her businesses all go bankrupt, her law degree stall, her social media brand partnerships dry up, and her show get canceled—she has a backup plan. Kardashian tells Allure in a new profile that if the rest of her life falls apart, she reckons she could make a pretty decent living as a beauty consultant. 

“People write all the time to say, ‘I heard you’re a really good facial consultant. Can I send a photo? What should I do?’” Kardashian said in the interview. “I am super honest: ‘Okay, you should try this facial or this laser.’” 

Later, she adds, “I have notes of the best doctors, the best everything…When this all goes to shit, I’m going to start a consultancy firm.”

According to her, she definitely has the passion for it, explaining that she genuinely does really care about looking good and puts in a lot of time and effort and research. “I probably care more than 90% of the people on this planet,” she says matter-of-factly. “It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school, and I’m all of the above. I do my beauty treatments usually late at night. After everyone’s in bed, I’m doing laser treatments.”
