Yara Shahidi made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on Wednesday (July 20), where she was promoting ‘Grown-ish’ with co-star Marcus Scribner, plus she also talked about being a graduate from Harvard university.

It’s interesting how Yara, Joey King and Ana de Armas are all connected with regards to their looks this week.

Yara and Ana are both embracing the preppy school uniform look, while Yara and Joey are making Thom Browne knee-length sheer button-up shirts a thing.

Considering Yara recent graduation, this Thom Browne double-breasted blazer dress with contrast piping styled with knee-high socks and penny loafers feels quite apt.

Made in America, but I’m sure you are also feeling an uber chic Parisian vibe from this look too.

From school vibes, to swinging ‘60s, Yara’s second look of the day was bursting with flower power with the on-trend summer turtleneck.

Her bold Nanushka Harri floral turtleneck top was styled with an ‘Inara’ mini dress which combines two things Nanushka does so well – vegan leather and beautiful feminine silhouettes.

I think this might be my favourite of the three, especially when you factor in the brightness of her neon-yellow Jimmy Choo ‘Bing’ mules.

Compared to the other two looks, this Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini Spring 2022 burgundy open-back knit dress has more of a minimalist vibe.

Jimmy Choo ‘Love’ pumps completed her look.

I have always loved Yara’s playful style, and these three looks have done nothing to dissuade this.
