If the likes of Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet can’t make artsy, androgynous men’s fashion mainstream, Brad Pitt is ready to take up the colorful, loose-fitting torch. The quintessential movie star has decided to use his hunk powers for fashion good, it seems. First, he donned a skirt for the Berlin premiere of his new movie Bullet Train, and then a relaxed, lime-green suit for the film’s premiere in Los Angeles.

When asked why he wore the Haans Nicholas Mott skirt on the Berlin red carpet, Pitt told Variety, “I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up.” He was similarly easy-breezy when asked about the internet-sensation by Extra on the L.A. carpet.
“My policy is to stay blissfully naïve,” he said. “I heard there were some rumblings, but I really just go my own way.” As for why he went with the (comparatively) more traditional pants in Los Angeles rather than another more gender-fluid look, Pitt responded, “It’s a bit cooler tonight.”
