Cynthia Erivo attended the Los Angeles premiere of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power’ which was held at The Culver Studios on Monday (August 15) in California.
This is the point where I would say that “I’m sure you’ll be happy to see that she’s not wearing Louis Vuitton,” but Cynthia’s LV moments have – for the most part – been good.
However, it was refreshing to see her wearing a different brand and a different silhouette.
Cynthia’s style is always highly regarded for its drama, colour, range and variety, so I love this more muted approach, especially considering the fact that Rick Owens is known for using architecture-inspired geometric shapes to apply his spin on the grunge aesthetic.
As you can see despite not being the case on this occasion, this look is not boring.
I think the honey-hued top saves this look. I don’t think I would’ve been so enamoured with a fully gunmetal grey look.
The Simone Rocha Pearl Egg bag was an intriguing choice, but I’m struggling to look past her nails here as I find the colours a bit garish.
