Dove Cameron just debuted one of her most dramatic beauty transformations to date. The star has never been shy to try out new looks in the past, switching up her hair color and experimenting with makeup, but her latest look definitely kicks it up a notch and is focused entirely on the eyebrows.
In an Instagram selfie posted on August 9, Dove shared a first look at her newly bleached brows. She accompanied the original photo post with a video, striking a pose with her face that included a wink.
There’s no word on what inspired the change. Though bleached brows have been trending on TikTok and she probably did it for fun, it could be required for an upcoming role or a photo shoot. What we do know is that Dove did keep her dark hair. Strands of her brunette hair were clipped back for the photo, giving you a complete look at her platinum blonde brows.

You can get a complete look at Dove’s bleached brow process in a TikTok she posted. Teaming up with Valentina Cy, the two chronicled their adventures of DIY eyebrow dying. “Don’t do literally anything that we did in this video we did everything wrong,” Dove captioned the clip. (The duo went through two bleaching processes before landing the final look.)
Though Valentina is not a fan of the result at first, we think they both look great!

It looked as if Dove paired the lighter eyebrows with a touch of lip gloss a super subtle, but still sharp eye wing. The bleached brows seem to be sticking around, too, at least based on an Instagram Story post shared on Thursday, August 11. For the photo, Dove posed with a pair of large headphones over her ears, donning Prada sandals on her feet.
