Julianne Moore, president of Venezia 79 official selection Jury, attended the jury photocall held during the Venice International Film Festival on Wednesday (August 31) Italy.
I want to start by saying that Julianne is making me question all the things I was saying about her style springing to life during European Film Festivals, because I’m also having trouble getting on board with this cream Celine suit from the Summer 2022 collection following her look from the cocktail event.
Celebrities have been championing the oversized suit trend for some time; therefore, this is not a new phenomenon.
But even if it was, I don’t understand how anyone can send their client onto a red carpet, as the president of a European Film Festival in a creased, ill-fitted suit.
I am in actual shock as the blazer is literally hanging off her.
I’m surprised all parties looked at this and were like, “yup.”
Like guys. You’ve had all summer to get this right.
The only thing I would save here is the Cartier Trinity for Chitose Abe of Sacai necklace, and Cartier Trinity for Chitose Abe of Sacai ring, as the shoes weren’t a great choice either.
Are you as baffled by this as I am?
I could’ve easily forgiven the creases, but that blazer…yikes.
I’ve just realised. Julianne might being “Greta Gerwiging” her way through this film festival *cries internally*
