Kirby Howell-Baptiste made a guest appearance on `Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (August 18), where she talked to guest host Nicole Byer about her car getting trapped in the sand, a very kind woman helping them, authoring two kids books, and her Netflix show ‘The Sandman.’
I’m starting to feel that Kirby is a fashion enthusiast who always wants to make a statement, and I’m here for it.
Along with her stylists Wayman and Micah I’m glad that those statement making looks aren’t reserved for just the red carpet as her Wiederhoeft TV show look showcases.
The designer called this look, ‘Scissor Pants’ as the tailored suit is fully woven from red and pink satin ribbons and embroidered with metal scissors motifs.
There is so much to contend with here. Some might say it’s a little chaotic, but she pulls it off with ease.
This has to do with the suit being the perfect fit and opting for a light-weight top which helps balance things out.
