Here is a menswear roundup from the red carpet this week.

Dave Franco attended the screening of his vampire action comedy ‘Day Shift’ in Miami on Tuesday (August 2).

I’m glad the actor doesn’t subscribe to the “dark film,” “dark outfit” dress code because we love a summery tailored moment when the season requires it, and the actor didn’t let us down in this Paul Smith look.

You can’t go wrong with mint green, unless you add black shoes, which Dave thankfully didn’t go for.

Stark white sneakers were the best choice.

What a pleasure it is to see Colman Domingo back in the spotlight.

The ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ actor made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ where he was serving up his sartorial retro style with a double helping of cream thanks to Gucci.

I love the vintage-inspiration is felt in the double-breasted silhouette, wide lapels and the oversized collar.

It looks like the men are finally considering more options than the humble black lace ups.

These boots were the perfect choice to amp up the ‘70s vibes of the suit.

It would appear that everyone from the cast of ‘The Sandman’ got the “go dramatic” memo, as Tom Sturridge gave us a gothic moment in this Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2022 velvet suit styled with a ruffled semi shirt shirt.

Velvet? For Spring?  I know, but theme wise he was on point.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson received the Davide Campari Excellence Award Winner during the Locarno Film Festival on Wednesday (August 3) in Locarno, Switzerland.

I’m starting to think that I imagined that he had more flair style-wise.  Because his looks during this ‘Bullet Train’ promo tour have been underwhelming.

He hasn’t looked bad (although the length of his trousers are questionable here) but by the same token, I haven’t been excited (or vaguely interested) by any of them.

Jamie Foxx joined Dave Franco on the red carpet.

Cheesy as it might appear to some, you really can’t go wrong with a Hawaiian shirt in Miami.

Welsh actor Scott McGlynn joined Tom Sturridge on the red carpet for ‘The Sandman’ premiere.

It looks like pussy bow blouses are still trending in menswear.
