It feels like just yesterday that the 10-minute version of Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” was released, and here she is with another new music announcement. On the heels of two big wins at the VMAs on Sunday, August 28, the singer shared that her tenth studio album, Midnights, will hit streaming services on October 21.

Swift wore a deep blue satin custom Moschino micro mini dress with a corsetted bodice to the VMAs afterparty. The bust is lined with rhinestones while the bodice is decorated with silver star embellishments down to the torso. Swift paired the dress with a white furry jacket despite the warm humid temps (the things we do for fashion, baby!) and very on-trend silver glittery platform heels. Swift wore her signature bright red lip with a dramatic black winged liner, and she wore her blonde hair with bangs down and in a natural but cool just-got-out-of-bed look.

Swift announced the new album on Instagram (as one does in 2022) with a caption explaining the inspiration:

“This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching—hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves,” Swift wrote. “Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.”

And here’s the post, which features some glittery blue eye shadow which is aesthetically in line with the Moschino dress:
