Zhang Ziyi (章子怡) is the president of The FIRST International Film Festival – the biggest indie film festival in Asia which some have held up as China’s answer to Sundance Film Festival.
As you know I have always been a sucker for sequins, but a classic Carolina Herrera look will always make me not only swoon, but also feel very nostalgic.
While Zhang Ziyi’s look hails from the brands Fall 2022 collection, it could easily be from any Carolina Herrera collection of the last 10 or more seasons.
That is not to say the look is dated, but it is the classic Carolina Herrera “uniform” – big skirt, tailored shirt.
Zhang Ziyi is the very picture of elegance in this look.
Simple as it is, how could you not be enamoured by this level of perfection, the attention to detail and the styling?
I’ve really missed her on the red carpet. And yes, this will be added to my BDOTY list.
