Last Thursday, we skipped the stuffy New York Fashion Week events and danced into the early morning at Courrèges Club—the legendary Parisian party that Interview and the French fashion house brought stateside for the very first time. After Courrèges unveiled their new boutique in SoHo earlier that evening, the leather-clad celebration migrated to Nowadays, where the raucous Ridgewood rave venue was transformed into the iconic fashion fête for a one-night only affair. Throughout the evening, artistic director Nicolas Di Felice and our editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg mingled and gossiped with underground icons like Patia Borja and Fashion Poon, as well as friends of Interview including Hari Nef, Rowan Blanchard, and Eartheater. Fashion girls drenched in Courrèges commanded the smoke-filled dancefloor to the beats of br0nz3_g0dd3ss, Sene, Big Gay Idiot, and BEARCAT, while ravers spiraled under a glimmering light in the shape of the brand’s signature logo.
