Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue show up alongside members of the royal family following the queen’s death. On Tuesday, September 13, the Sussexes joined King Charles III, Camilla, queen consort, Prince William, and Kate Middleton to receive Queen Elizabeth II’s casket at Buckingham Palace. On Wednesday, September 14, they appeared for the procession of the queen’s coffin to Westminster Palace.
The casket made its way to Buckingham Palace from Balmoral Castle in Scotland, where Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday, September 8. Per People, the queen’s casket was accompanied by Princess Anne on the flight to London, and then spent the night in the Bow Room before a procession on Wednesday brought it to the Palace of Westminster. The casket will lie in state at Westminster Hall until the funeral, which will be held at Westminster Abbey on Monday, September 19.
