Penelope Cruz is back, and looking as beautiful as ever for the photocall and premiere for ‘L’Immensità’ held during the 2022 Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 4) in Italy.
I know Penelope Cruz and Chanel haven’t been our favourite fashion union, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved both looks.
For the photocall she wore an easy, breezy Chanel Resort 2023 dress which features an elegant crossover halterneck construction which was oozing with plenty of spirited charm.
We all want Penelope to look sexy, sophisticated, and modern, but often we’ve been left unimpressed by some of her choices which have left her looking much older than her years.
On this occasion the silhouette of the Chanel Fall 2022 Haute Couture dress was the first thing that pleased me, because I’m kinda over seeing her in those drop-waist gowns.
There is a slight retro element infused via the padded shoulders, but they aren’t overwhelming to take this into bad ‘80s territory.
With an embellished neckline I don’t understand adding a necklace here, especially when it is barely seen.
This is probably why her hair is pulled back behind her ears to showcase the diamonds.
