The best jeans

My favorite jeans are vintage Levi’s. I still love a classic high-waisted bootleg or bootcut denim. I just think that’s always going to be flattering. It’s easy. You can wear it with sneakers. You can wear it with heels. You can wear it with boots. It works. I stand by those.

The one thing I can’t live without as a new mom

The Doona stroller is a car seat and stroller in one—in New York City, that makes a huge difference because then I can just pop into an Uber with my son really easily, which is very nice.

My favorite scent

I love a eucalyptus scent. I’m pretty open to candles—they just have to smell good—but I don’t wear perfume, typically. I feel like I always smell like a combination of baby and Kérastase shampoo because I use it a lot. And maybe some dry shampoo from Bumble and Bumble. That’s what I end up smelling like, whether or not I choose to.

The beauty product I use the most

I always carry around a Patrick Ta lip liner. That’s become my thing. The reason I really like it is because you don’t have to sharpen it. You click the back, and it pushes out. I’m not somebody who always thinks to carry a sharpener with me. There are a lot of lip liners I like—but because this one’s so easy and it’s a good color, I end up using it a lot.

Hair

Kérastase, their Extentioniste line, makes your hair grow. It actually really, really works. Full disclosure: I work with them. But it’s one of those things where I did not understand that the quality of your shampoo would affect your hair so much. I was somebody who didn’t think that it mattered and would buy cheap shampoo. My hair has totally changed since I started using it, probably four years ago.

On my shopping wish list

I’m setting up my new place, so I’m looking for a good dining room table. It’s very hard to find the right one. I don’t want anything too big or too small. I’m trying to figure out the right shape, all that. It’s actually the hardest thing to find for a place. It’s very annoying, and tables are quite overpriced. You want to get something that you really love and that you’ll keep forever, but it’s kind of impossible.

The skin-care product I swear by

I really love Weleda Skin Food. I’m naturally kind of dry, and it’s the best. I’ve gone through so many moisturizers and oils and everything, and I don’t really have to use that much else besides this because it keeps my skin really balanced. And there’s no weird fragrance to it—it just smells natural. It doesn’t irritate my skin, and it keeps it moisturized all day.

The one thing I always have in my bag

I stand by my addiction to Aquaphor. I always have to have Aquaphor on me.
