While the rest of the Royal Family rushes to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to visit with Queen Elizabeth, who is under medical supervision after doctors expressed “concerns for her health,” Kate Middleton remains in her and Prince William’s new home in Windsor—but not without good reason.

The couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, just attended their first day at a new school following their move from London. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed on Wednesday, September 7, walking their kids—decked out in new school uniforms—to  Lambrook School, not far from Adelaide Cottage where the family now resides.

Per BBC, the Duke and Duchess decided that only William needed to head to Balmoral in the Highlands of Scotland, where the queen spends her summers, while Kate Middleton looks after their kids. In addition to William, Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are en route to see the queen.

Several other members of the Royal Family are expected to arrive, including Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, and Edward’s wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
