Emma Watson has finally debuted her pixie cut on the red carpet.

On October 13, Watson attended the Prada Paradoxe Fragrance Launch Party in London with the crop, which saw her short fringe styled to the side with the rest of her hair slightly tousled. She highlighted her hairdo with a pair of black hoop earrings, cat eye makeup, a warm pink blush, and matching lipstick.

As for her outfit, Emma fittingly went for a smart uniform-inspired look. Just in time for fall, she made layering red carpet chic. She wore a blazer, a button-down dress with a mesh overlay, a sparkly purse, and Mary Jane heels with crew socks. (It’s safe to say that this outfit would get a nod of approval from present-day Hermione Granger.)

If you remember, Emma first debuted this pixie cut back in August, when Prada Beauty dropped their recent campaign with the actor and activist. In the images, Emma sported a similar cat-eye and oversized earrings, spotlighting her new crop complete with micro bangs. The look quickly prompted some comparisons to her 2010 look. (Emma originally debuted her first pixie cut after completing the Harry Potter series, making it all the more iconic.)

Fans understandably got a sense of deja vu seeing the nostalgic haircut during the summer, but it’s not the first time Emma has worn a look that was a complete throwback to the early 2000s on the red carpet—her BAFTA 2022 look was a total homage to Y2K beauty.

But, back to the chop. Why are we talking about a “debut” if we have seen the look before? Well, this is where things get a little bit confusing, as Emma did walk the red carpet in September with seemingly long hair wrapped up in a bun.
