You didn’t love Florence Pugh’s Valentino Haute Couture gown for the premiere of ‘The Wonder’ last week, but she had four more looks promoting her new film during the 2022 London Film Festival.
Starting with the post premiere drinks event which saw her wearing a pretty pink Rodarte lace and satin puff sleeve dress from the Fall 2022 collection.
Yes, there is an element of old fashion nightgown about this look, but I do love the colour on her.
On Saturday (October 8), she attended the Netflix brunch wearing a Galvan London green velvet jumpsuit.
While this isn’t the same lush green hue as the Galvan London jumpsuit we saw on Viola Davis recently, some might feel this was her best look of the weekend.
But there are two more looks to follow for you to make that conclusion.
I’m sure this contrast collar dress needs no introduction, as this is a style that Alessandra Rich has made her own.
Florence wore this Alessandra Rich frill trimmed dress to a special screening of ‘The Wonder’ held at Soho House.
Much like when Margot Robbie wore this style of dress, I have the same critique.
This is not her dress.
I love Alessandra Rich as a brand, but her aesthetic isn’t a great fit for everyone.
I feel that is perfectly demonstrated here, but looking over Florence’s looks from the weekend, this fits the ’50s housewives theme that she and her stylist were clearly going for.
Closing a busy Saturday at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 2022 New Members Reception, Florence wore her second Rodarte Fall 2022 dress of the weekend.
I had to laugh at the placement of the third bow on this tulle tiered gown.
Bow aside, this is easily Florence’s most unflattering look of the year. And it pains me to say this.
She deserves better than this dress.
Tiffany & Co. jewels and Aquazzura Love Affair satin pumps completed her look.
