Here is a roundup from the London Film Festival red carpet looks which caught my eye this weekend.
Starting with Salma Hayek who attended the ‘Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths’ screening alongside Jodie Turner Smith.
Had it not been for Salma’s proximity to all things fashion, she would probably get a pass along with the likes of Mariah Carey.
But Salma literally has no excuse as to why she doesn’t hit the mark each time.
This Bottega Veneta Spring 2022 look so wrong for her. The jacket is nullifying the dress, and the dress feels too juvenile for her.
A very unflattering look all around.
Mexican actress Ximena Lamadrid joined Salma on the red carpet, but as this was her film, so Ximena made a bigger statement wearing this Fendi Spring 2022 Couture black coupé lurex Victorian-inspired gown.
Letitia Wright was giving me a slight case of déjà vu in this Acne Studios Fall 2022 leather dress for the ‘Aisha’ premiere.
This is mostly because the actress leans to this style, length and silhouette a lot.
Audrey Plaza attended the ‘Emily The Criminal’ premiere dressed in a Prada suit styled with jewels from Rachel Boston, By Pariah and Liv Luttrell.
I’m glad she opted to shelve her beloved shorts for trousers for this occasion. I just wish that the trousers weren’t so long.
Michelle Monaghan attended the ‘Nanny’ premiere wearing an Alessandra Rich Fall 2022 velvet cut out dress, which you may remember was recently worn by Kaitlyn Dever, but Kaitlyn’s version was modified.
I think both dresses suit their style personalities.
