The 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards took place on Monday (November 7) at Cipriani South Street in New York City, with all of the Kardashian-Jenner women in attendance excluding Kourtney.
We all love an archive moment, especially from the Mugler Archive.
Kylie Jenner has been elevating her red carpet stylerecently, and this has been enhanced with several archive looks, which was also a theme for her sister Kim for a while.
The Lip Kit mogul wore an asymmetric organza dress, spiral bustier in black pleated lacquered organza with a black velvet skirt from the Mugler Fall 1999 Haute Couture collection, ‘Les Méduses’.
It is an absolutely breath-taking creation, and I’m delighted to see Kylie doing it justice with her light makeup and spiral inspired hairstyle which might start trending as we saw this on Taylor Russell this week.
Following the LACMA Art + Film Gala, Kim Kardashian was back on the red carpet, and thankfully she wasn’t wearing another Balenciaga tight-fit gown with built-in gloves.
She heard our ‘enough is enough’ pleas and opted for a black translucent PVC Dolce & Gabbana décolleté dress from her curated CiaoKim Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2023 collection, which is a re-edition from the Spring 2007 collection.
This is very on brand for Kim, yet it feels very refreshing.
I’m still waiting for the return of her original hair colour, but I do like how her hair was swept back on this occasion. Both the hair and makeup are much improved from the weekend. She looks younger than she did then.
This event, and fashion events in general are a new thing for Khloe Kardashian, so I’m actually interested to see more of her style.
It was always kinda weird how she was left out, but I’m sure we can all guess why.
On this occasion she was accompanying LaQuan Smith who was nominated for American Womenswear Designer of the Year, so naturally she wore a custom LaQuan Smith iridescent bronze mesh gown with cross-body cutout and ruched train.
I’ve never had a problem with underboob, and this gown doesn’t change that.
LaQuan Smith is a very provocative designer so I can’t say I’m shocked by this. Khloe looks incredible, and this is very on brand for a Kardashian-Jenner woman.
Do you wish she had worn the breastplate we saw on the runway, or do you like how Khloe made this look her own?
After her previous look, this is the Kendall Jenner I want to see.
I literally had no words for her last look, but this Khaite white sequin dress has a softness and elegance which I will always associate with Kendall’s style.
Khaite x Elhanati jewellery completed her look.
