Michaela Coel made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where she talked about being featured on the cover of Vogue, Beyoncé surprising her with flowers after she won two Emmys for ‘I May Destroy You’ and being overwhelmed with emotions while filming ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’
As a fellow Brit, I feel nothing but pride when I see the British actress on this promo tour, because it feels like she’s finally getting the credit and exposure that her talent deserves.
I can’t wait to see her in this film when it releases on November 11.
The Burberry Spring 2023 collection wasn’t highly regarded, so I wasn’t sure how many red carpet looks we would see from it, but Michaela looked amazing wearing a gloved catsuit which marries the brands signature check with the Equestrian Knight Design, which was layered with a lace teddy.
Rocking a train does feel like a lot for a TV show (as does a lace teddy), but I think Michaela has the style credentials to pull it off in this setting, as her style – as I’ve known it – was never conventional.
Panconesi earrings and rings from Thelma West completed her look along with strappy sandals and a sharp bob.
