Selena Gomez appears to have fallen out with her friend Francia Raisa, and their troubles were broadcast on social media over the weekend.
The pair had been close friends for over ten years; the How I Met Your Father actress even donated her kidney to Gomez, which she needed due to complications from lupus, back in 2017.
However, things seem to take a dramatic turn after 30-year-old Gomez divulged that Taylor Swift is her “only” friend in the industry in a profile for Rolling Stone which was released ahead of her Apple TV+ documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me. Raisa was not mentioned in the documentary, even though it covered six years of the former Disney star’s life.
Talking about her friendship circle, Gomez confessed to Rolling Stone: “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
Raisa, who has also starred in Bring It On: All or Nothing and The Secret Life of the American Teenager, didn’t seem to take well to being excluded from Gomez’s list of pals. She replied “interesting” in the comments section of an E! News post that shared the exact Swift quote from Gomez. (The comment has since been deleted.) She also unfollowed Gomez from Instagram.

And the Only Murders In The Building star noticed. She left a comment under a TikTok video that discussed how Raisa had unfollowed her. “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” Gomez, who still follows Raisa on social media, wrote.
