It’s a tale as old as time. As a new week begins, memories of the weekend slowly but surely fade into oblivion. Trudging through the upcoming week can low-key feel like an odyssey, but at least we have some gorgeous fashion inspo to float you right through to the weekend. Meandering between a variety of looks, from FKA Twigs’ knightly knits, Willow Smith’s grungey chic, and Bree Runway’s jellyfish-esque bday dress – we’ve come stocked with the goods.

Head below to see this week’s fashion picks…

FKA Twigs is our knight in knitted armour

Starting off, we simply must begin with Miss FKA Twigs. Twigs is never one to shy away from experimentation, and we’re not mad about it – this medieval-esque look is giving us life! Donning a charcoal-grey hooded crop top and matching crochet bikini bottoms from the UK-based independent knitwear brand, Noorvana, she looks every bit the knight of our dreams. We’re sensing that medieval-core is on the horizon, and we love how her grey knit gives the illusion of chainmail. Tying in the monochromatic look Twigs adds some baggy harem pants for good measure, finishing it off with some black combat boots. Chefs kiss!

Olivia Deano is red-hot

This week, the rising singer-songwriter Olivia Deano graced us with this fire Jimmy Choo look. A vision in red, Deano wore a stunningly crafted gown made from silk, fit with intricate ruching and appliques all over. As the young artist sauntered around, the dress moved with her – and it was truly a sight to behold. Opting for matching red heels, the velvet bow details are just the cherry on top. It’s an undeniably feminine gown, yet its scorching hue imbues it with edge; we love to see it.

Bree Runway celebrates in style

Our favourite pop superstar, Bree Runway, ushered in her birthday this week in the most spellbinding Chet Lo dress. Famed for his boundary-breaking fabric manipulation technique, Chet Lo’s pieces are utterly unique; the dress Runway cherry-picked for her birthday is everything and more. In a black and pink gradient, the halterneck dress is graced with a cutout at Runway’s midriff. Trailing off behind the artist in a train, Runway ties the look together with some insane Loewe balloon heels. 30 has never looked so good!

Ayra Starr is a Y2K dream

At the tender age of 20, Ayra Starr is shaping up to be an Afrosoul princess – and she’s got the outfits to boot. This week the young artist graced us with this gorgeous giraffe-print, hooded two piece. In a red and white colourway, the set looks as if it was made for her, and her only. The top swoops down in a deep cowl neck, while the hood is draped ever so gracefully around her head. The drapery, the pattern, the vibe – what’s not to love? There’s no doubt she’s got that ‘Starr’ quality.

Willow Smith is a grunge dream

Last but not at all least is Willow Smith. Joining the cult fave band Smashing Pumpkins on stage, Smith was grungey and dreamy in equal spades. Opting for an all black outfit, the young artist goes for some colossal platform Converses. Her bottoms are leather, covered in straps and belts all over. Up top she dons a ‘subversive basics’ top, complete with criss-cross straps and cut outs. However, it’s her insanely vibrant headpiece from the Italian-based brand Rat Hat that takes the cake. Fluffy, stringy, jellyfish-esque – it’s like a bonnet and earmuffs fused into one. We’re foaming at the mouth tbh.
