A pair of neon signs depicting a succession of shoes and baseball hats signal the arrival of Loro Piana’s newest pop-up in Beverly Hills. Open through January 22, 2023, the temporary boutique includes an array of footwear, from boots to sneakers in an assortment of smart colors and luxury fabrics. The house’s customizable and versatile white-sole shoes—a hallmark of yachting style anchored in sailing culture and crafted with non-marking materials—headline the mix of kicks on offer. The elegant styles designed for wear far beyond the harbor include waterproof ankle boots in knitted merino wool and Summer Walk moccasins or mules outfitted with tiny charms. The latter loafer-style designs in unlined suede are stainproof, and heels can be customized with initials.

Also inside the minimalist cream-colored shop are sneakers combining savvy craftsmanship with sporty performance features. The house’s running shoes, its Weekend Walk models, are made from a three-dimensional technical knit with Napa leather details and lightweight soles in versions for men and women. Featherlight 360 Colorama sneakers, meanwhile, combine technical soles with extra-fine merino wool uppers. The shoes are available in a spectrum of natural shades and can be customized with a choice of heel designs.

Timed with the dropping temperatures, cozy clothing that embraces both indoor ease and the great outdoors, from the men’s and women’s Winter 2022 collections, also line the shop’s walls. The cold-weather essentials include women’s coats, parkas, capes, turtlenecks and Extra Pocket bags made from Cashfur, Loro Piana’s innovative cashmere-and-silk fabric. Men’s half-zip sweaters, slim trousers, tailored shirts, cashmere coats and bomber jackets are ideal for outdoor gatherings. Top off the tailored looks with waterproof baseball hats made from the house’s trademark fabrics, also on offer inside the retail space. And for the perfect gift, why not personalize a cashmere cap via the on-site embroidery service? 323 N. Rodeo Dr., Beverly Hills, 310-860-0765.
