Naomi Ackie attended the London premiere of ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ held at The Ham Yard Hotel on Monday (December 19) in England.
The British actress looked beautiful wearing a custom Atelier Versace long-sleeve gown crafted from silver coated jersey fabric which will forever be my weakness.
The hooded dress continues to be the breakout look of the Fall season, but I’m not convinced that this look was entirely trend driven.
When I first saw this cowl hooded gown on Naomi, my first thought was the iconic cape that Whitney Houston wore in her 1992 film, ‘The Bodyguard’ before she sings ‘Queen of the Night.’
This was a beautiful homage, plus I prefer this over her Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress she wore to the world premiere in New York last week.
Versace Tonal Pin-Point strappy sandals completed the look.
