Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are just like any other couple: Occasionally they like to roast each other in public. Ah, love.

In Harry & Meghan, the two-volume Netflix docuseries about the couple’s lives together, the titular married pair described how they fell in love. After two dates, Harry said, he realized that Meghan was “everything I had been looking for.” For most people, that expression might conjure up an abstract collection of attractive qualities: kindness, humor, confidence, etc. But for Prince Harry, the checklist was literal.

“He had a list, apparently,” Meghan reveals with a smirk, to which Harry replies, “Let’s not go there.” Mischief alights in Meghan’s eyes as she elaborates to the off-camera interviewer, “an extensive list.”

To be fair to Harry, in his specific circumstances a list is not totally unreasonable. As he says in the first episode of Volume I, his girlfriends face an outside pressure that is…unique, to say the least. Nevertheless, Meghan’s teasing feels appropriate.

The interviewer, relatably intrigued, asked, “What were a few things on that list?” Harry quickly replied, “I’m not sharing the list…nice try.” He then gestures to Meghan, who is now giggling: “This is the list.”

Don’t feel bad for Harry—he got in a few gentle jabs at Meghan, too, recalling how she was flustered after arriving a few minutes late to their second date. “I hate being late,” Meghan exhales, to which Harry reacts with a mocking laugh. Stop it, you two!

There are three episodes in Volume I of Harry & Meghan, which were released Thursday morning, December 8. Volume II will drop on December 15 on Netflix.
