It’s been a minute since Priyanka Chopra debuted her ultra-long mermaid hair at the start of autumn. Having had a mid-length style for years, it was a fresh new look for the actor.

The good thing about having longer hair is that there’s more of it to play with, and Chopra did just that to walk the red carpet in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, December 1, where she attended the Red Sea International Film Festival.

With a deep side-part, her long hair was styled into some excellent Pre-Raphaelite waves. Chopra’s curls were glossy and luminous and the star wore them with a wide smile and an equally shimmering ensemble (a kaftan-style gown by Tony Ward). But even her diamond and emerald necklace couldn’t outshine her hair.

The Pre-Raphaelite hair trend first came to the fore at the Met Gala back in May. Everyone from Kaia Gerber and Sophie Turner to Phoebe Dynevor and Hoyeon Jung had a curtain of dramatic waves tumbling over their shoulders.

Worn polished and sleek or undone for a grunge feel, there is a version of the style for everyone—and it’s easier than you think to execute. Try taking sections of hair and braiding while slightly damp, then go to bed, and take them out the next day. Alternatively, a hair tool can help. Try the new BaByliss Wave Secret Air Hair Waver, which does all the hard work for you, creating the perfect wave like Priyanka Chopra’s in seconds.
