Thanks to Avi who informed me that I was wrong about the Lanvin Fall 2022 dress being the most worn dress of the year.
The dress that was worn the most times by celebrities in 2022 was the Rick Owens Prong leather dress from the Spring 2022 collection.
I think I got so bored of it, that I started to ignore it after some time, so I’m grateful to Avi for reminding me of its huge presence.
Monica was the first person to wear this dress to the 2022 CMT Awards back in April, before Nazanin Mandi who walked the red carpet wearing this dress to the ‘Nope’ LA premiere in July.
Ayesha Curry posted this picture to her Instagram on August 15…
…before Mae Muller wore the same dress 23 days later to the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
Early September Heidi Klum wore the dress to the Harper’s BAZAAR Global ICONS, before Kim Kardashian wore the silver version on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden.’
I’m sure there might be some I am missing, but I believe former singer Frankie Bridge was the last person to wear this dress this year for the 2022 Attitude Awards on October 12.
What is remarkably similar to the Lanvin dress, is that no one (aside from Nazanin Mandi and Mae Muller) bothered to get this dress tailored to fit. It’s way too long for almost all of them.
