Anya Taylor-Joy is never one to fade into the background, so I wasn’t surprised to see her bring a statement look to the red carpet for the 2023 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 19).
‘The Menu’ actress wore a champagne liquid velvet Schiaparelli Spring 2023 Haute Couture look which was part structural mini dress and part matching matching corolla effect stole.
I love the idea of this look, but in some pictures she did look slightly overwhelmed by the stole, so I’m glad we got a second snapshot without it.
Love, or loathe this look(s), you can never say that Anya plays it safe.
I know some of you think that she tries too hard, but I’ll try hard over someone who wears black dresses all the time.
