Beyoncé has done it: The 41-year-old singer has just become the winningest artist in Grammys history, with 32 wins to her name.
Earlier in the evening at the 65th annual Grammy Awards, Queen Bey took home three awards, including best R&B record for “Cuff It,” which tied her for most wins with classical conductor Georg Solti. Upon winning the award for best dance/electronic music album recording for 2022’s Renaissance, Bey officially became the new record holder.
“We are witnessing history tonight,” presenter James Corden said while announcing the award. Before he finished, Beyoncé was already standing up and appeared visibly emotional. “Breaking the record for the most Grammy wins of all time…show your respect: It’s Renaissance, Beyoncé!”
“I’m trying not to be too emotional,” Bey, clad in Gucci, said as she took the stage. “I’m trying to just receive the night.”
