Florence Pugh

It’s no secret that Florence Pugh loves to switch up her hair. But the actor’s 2.0 structural hairstyle for the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards, which are taking place tonight at London’s Royal Festival Hall, has just cemented her reputation as an A-list hair chameleon.

The Oxford-born actor is in attendance to support her film, The Wonder, which is nominated for Outstanding British Film. To mark the occasion, Florence Pugh walked the red carpet with a new micro fringe, which had a deep side parting, while the rest of her hair was swept into an updo, with the ends fanned out in a pin-straight halo around her head.

The style looks all the more dramatic given the darker roots that separate the smattering of blonde highlights woven through her baby bangs and ends. Not to mention, the shape perfectly mirrors the star’s orange organza gown, with its ruffled fishtail and pleated flounces on the bustier.

Florence is no stranger to eliciting gasps from the crowd when she attends an awards show. She has been known to rock a mixie (a mullet and pixie mashup) one minute and a blonde layered bob or wet-look hair with purple tips the next.

But Florence seems to save her most daring looks for the BAFTAs. Rewind to last year, when she debuted ultra-short, raven black hair slicked back against her head with a deep side parting that was adorned with jewels.
