Jennifer Lopez Affleck Is on Board With the Short Shorts Long Jacket Trend

As usual, Jennifer Lopez is killing it in this old school brown-on-brown ‘fit. For another Coach ad, Lopez wears an oversized shacket buttoned once at the top with matching shorts and baseball cap while modeling the brand’s Tabby bag. In a nod to their shared New York City roots, the Coach campaign is shot in front of mural-sized photos of the city’s iconic skyline. In this photo, posted to the brand’s Instagram, Lopez stands on a brown leather armchair with the city skyscrapers just visible behind her. (See it here.)

Days earlier, Lopez posted a first look from the upcoming spring campaign to her own Instagram. In those shots, the Shotgun Wedding star wears Coach slides, shorts, and a chunky sweater with only a bra underneath. “Spring is in the air,” the caption reads. It’s all giving very much “Jenny from the block,” because that is what the people want to see.

And as we all know, JLo is not afraid to throw it back. Her upcoming album, for instance, is titled This Is Me… Now, and is meant as a follow up to her 2002 album This Is Me… Then, per Variety. The upcoming album will even include a track titled “Dear Ben Pt. II,” clearly a reference to the song “Dear Ben” on the 2002 album. (Three tries to guess which Ben she’s referring to, here.)

“Heralding a new era of music for Jennifer Lopez, This Is Me…Now chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades,” the release statement reads. But one thing that obviously hasn’t changed is her ability to look good in hats.
