There were plenty of celebrities (47 to be exact) in the front row of the Dior Pre-Fall 2023 show which was hosted in Mumbai on Thursday (March 30) at the Gateway of India monument.

The unique thing about this front row is that most of the celebrities were wearing pieces from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection, which was presented back in December 2022.

Juliette Binoche, Anya Taylor-Joy and Elizabeth Debicki have all worn pieces from this collection during awards season already.

Sonam Kapoor was looking as graceful as ever wearing a Dior Pre Fall 2023 pink silk three-piece look.

I love how the Dior bag, jewelry and shoes gave this look an authentic Mumbai feeling.

Simone Ashley kept things simple with her Dior Pre Fall 2023 white silk dress.

I’m not feeling this Dior bag with this look.  It doesn’t match the minimalist glamour of her dress.

I do love her choice of jewels however.

I was majorly underwhelmed with Charithra Chandran in this Dior black embellished dress.

There were so many bold beautiful pieces in this collection, I wish she had had more fun with it.

At least her Dior sandals matched.

You can always rely on Freida Pinto for a colourful moment.

The vibrancy of this purple Dior Pre Fall 2023 dress is sending me over the edge.

I would’ve loved an embellished Dior bag to complement the neckline, but I’ll still take what Freida is serving.

And then we have actress Poorna Jagannathan on the opposite end of the colour wheel wearing an all-white Dior Pre Fall 2023 look, which was a perfect representation of the label’s minimalist codes.

If Maria Grazia Chiuri offered me one dress from this front row, Anoushka Shankar’s Dior Pre Fall 2023 embroidered pink tulle dress would be the one.

It’s the richness of the embellishments and the print for me.

I wouldn’t have picked those tap-dancing shoes with this Dior Pre Fall 2023 pink silk look, but I guess Ananya Panday wanted to experiment with this look.

Indrani Dasgupta’s Dior Pre Fall 2023 printed silk satin shirt and pants was my second (maybe even my first) favourite.

It’s the print and easy wearability that speaks to me the most.

Dior Pre Fall 2023 purple looks continued to stand out in this front row.

Diana Penty styled her Indian-inspired look with a Dior bag which I feel would’ve been better had it been plain.

I adore the richness of the fabric and the design of Yara Shahidi’s Dior Resort 2023 printed embroidered jacket, but those Dior shoes are a very odd choice with this look.

Cara Delevingne’s styling of this Dior printed multi-colour cotton coat was much more successful.

I’m thoroughly intrigued by striped shorts.

Karlie Kloss was serving up matador elegance thanks to her Dior Resort 2023 black embroidered jacket.

This was the perfect look for those Dior J’Adior slingback shoes.

Patchwork pieces can have a feeling of homemade, but even someone as sophisticated as Camille Cottin couldn’t sell this pair of trousers to me.  

Dior Joiallerie jewels completed her look.

Maisie Williams appears to have located her eyebrows in Mumbai.

Considering her love for all-things black, I was surprised by this Dior red dress.

When it comes to Naomi Ackie.  Wear a black dress by all means, but travelling all the way to Mumbai to wear one is a nondescript as this is a little disappointing.

I kinda wish Naomi had gotten her hands on Jessie Buckley’s Dior Spring 2023 beige cotton shirt and shorts set.
