Gabrielle Union and her step-daughter Zaya Wade are style forces in their own right, and the pair made a fashionable joint appearance on the red carpet at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles last night, on March 30.

Zaya, who made her catwalk debut at Miu Miu’s autumn/winter 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, wore a look from the brand on the night that comprised of mini-shorts, a black satin jacket, and one of its über-mini skirts. The teen also carried Miu Miu’s coveted pocket bag and wore the thong-toe boots that were seen on its spring/summer 2023 runway.
