Jenna Ortega looked like the ultimate prom date in a tuxedo-style no-pants ensemble at the New York City premiere of Scream VI. Decked out in a Jean Paul Gaultier look, Tiffany & Co. diamonds, and a bold red lip, Ortega gave no clue that she’d suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction directly before these photos were taken. Look closely and you’ll spot a blue Sharpie stain on the strapless white shirt layered underneath her jacket. Per the Evening Standard, the smudge was the result of a fan signing gone wrong.

Blue smudge aside, the look feels perfectly in line with Ortega’s Disney-villain red-carpet style. The star has been consistently channeling Wednesday Addams ever since the series, in which she stars, debuted on Netflix in November 2022. We probably won’t be getting a second season of Wednesday until fall 2023, but in the meantime you can catch Jenna Ortega doing her horror It girl thing at a theater near you. In Scream VI—the iconic slasher franchise’s latest sequel—Ortega is reprising the role of Tara Carpenter following the character’s debut in Scream V.
