Jourdan Dunn and Little Simz attended the Hennessy X.O x Kim Jones collaboration global launch in London, where they both wore Fendi Spring 2023 looks.
Fendi hasn’t given us many womenswear looks to be excited about – yes, I’m still reeling from Zoe Saldana’s Oscar night look – so I wanted to celebrate these two (surprisingly crease-free) looks.
Jourdan Dunn can pull off just about anything – which is her job after all – so I’m wondering if I’m more enamoured by the wearer, or the colour.
Cut-out coats – especially in this satin fabric – aren’t always easy to pull off, so I will commend that part of the look, but the skirt didn’t really work for me.
When it comes to Little Simz’s Fendi Spring 2023 look, the tailoring of the multi-layered jacket stands out the most.
Satin hasn’t always been Kim’s Jones’ friend, but in this case the art of bringing a contemporary edge to classic tailoring is highly admirable.
This was my favourite look of the two.
