Anya Taylor-Joy attended the special screening of Universal Pictures’ ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie,’ held at Regal LA Live on Saturday (April 1) in Los Angeles, California.
I know some of you might be looking at this Dior pink leather jumpsuit, gloves, and boots combo with a side-eye, but considering the nature of this movie, I once again find myself applauding Anya’s commitment to a look.
The Super Mario Luigi Bros are known for the one outfit: racing overalls, so this uber girly version made perfect sense to me.
Did it need to be this literal and camp?
Yes. The more camp the better for me.
Anya is the perfect person to get into the playful spirit of it all, and I’m not looking forward to more of the same from this promo tour, which might just be a pink-fest.
