Brainstorming for a new movie together or just catching up? Jennifer Aniston and her ex Justin Theroux were spotted having dinner with Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka in New York, though Jen and Justin reportedly arrived separately, so don’t start a rumor.
The foursome dined at Il Cantinori, a celebrity hotspot that, yes, is where Carrie Bradshaw celebrated 35…or tried to, before no one she invited showed up. Page Six reports that this was a Saturday night dinner, and snagged photos of everyone arriving: Aniston wore all-black with gold accents, Theroux paired combat boots with an army green jacket, and the Batemankas coordinated in shades of black and dark grey. Very NYC!
The exes appeared to chat amiably before being seated, and Aniston left the restaurant holding a single pink rose from who knows who. Probably a waiter who had a crush on Rachel Green. Guess we’ll have to wait til the hostess gossip TikTok girlies weigh in.

Aniston and Theroux have always seemed to be on good terms post-split—they even cuddled up together for a pic while rehearsing a reading of The Facts of Life in 2021—but the Morning Show star did reveal that her taste in men over the years has been…questionable. Talking to Jimmy Fallon about her Murder Mystery 2 co-star Adam Sandler, she said that he doesn’t give her career advice but relationship advice: “If I get anything from him, it’s ‘What are you doing?’ Usually based on someone I’m dating…[he says] ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’” she revealed. Girl, we need the memoir.
Can’t say I have any better dating advice, but I do hope Bateman is roping those two into Game Night 2, because we really need a Game Night 2. Jennifer Aniston, tell us what is profitable for Frito-Lay!
