Following the Rome premiere, Priyanka Chopra was back on the red carpet for the ‘Citadel’ LA premiere on Tuesday (April 25).
I was relieved to see that the actress went back to base camp and kept things simple wearing this Roksanda cape-effect, open-back, draped silk-satin gown from the Fall 2022 collection.
When you are this beautiful you don’t need to drown yourself in feathers to make a statement.
However, if I was to be pedantic, I would say that a global superstar like Priyanka shouldn’t be wearing a gown that has already been worn during her world promo tour.
Especially considering a. this dress was worn by her BFF Serena Williams last month for the ‘Creed III’ LA premiere, and b. how badly this dress looked on the red carpet the first time around.
Granted, Priyanka was able to serve the major issues that Serena had with this look with less creases and better support, but if this was my client and I was doing my due diligence, I might have skipped this one.
Luckily for Priyanka this worked out.
Bulgari jewels and silver embellished strappy sandals completed her look.
