The Brooklyn Academy of Music’s (BAM) first instalment of ‘Eldorado Ballroom,’ featured a music-performance series curated by Solange Knowles for Saint Heron.
The series – in which she hosts an intergenerational line up of artists who have all influenced her own creative practice – is named after ‘Houston’s Third Ward,’ where Solange’s love of performance began.
When it comes to the red carpet, will have to go back to 2020 for the singer’s last appearance, as it appears that Solange has been focusing on her music.
Solange’s love for cult labels is still apparent as she wore a Bottega Veneta croc-effect patent-leather coat and light cotton tank top from the Spring 2023 collection, with wide leg wool trousers and embossed leather boots completing her look.
This was a statement-making piece to Solange’s outerwear wardrobe.
While its classic silhouette confirms its timeless nature, the embossed leather gives her look an edge.
But was the coat too oversized?
