Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Alexander McQueen To Visit The Foundling Museum

Catherine, Princess of Wales paid a visit to The Foundling Museum on Thursday (May 25) in London, where she was carrying out engagements to highlight the effects of nurturing relationships in early childhood.

We love a monochromatic moment, and the Princess has been serving them up with some regularity recently – (The Royal Foundation Centre For Early Childhood EventSt. Patrick’s Day Parade and Easter Sunday Service).

Today’s Alexander McQueen look is a rerun, so since I missed the first outing back in June 2022, let’s compare.

The matching blouse gave today’s look a touch more formality and I prefer the white shoes.

The look feels more polished with a belt, but I wish it wasn’t that belt.

I’m not opposed to the colour, and they work with the shoes, and break up the look.

I don’t like the pearl accents as they steer this look down an old-fashioned path.

The first time around the look felt more relaxed and informal, despite the very subtle changes.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the suede pumps as I would’ve preferred a matching shade of pink, rather than a darker shade.

Going lighter with white today was the right choice for the Princess.
