You want something done right? Do it yourself. That’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s motto, at least when it comes to modeling her fashion line, G. Label.
The 50-year-old actor and entrepreneur has gone pantsless to model knitwear and shirtless to sell outerwear, and now she’s gone topless to promote Goop’s seasonal sale, which features select products for 40% off. One of those items? A pair of wide-leg jeans Paltrow wore sans shirt in a poolside video she recently shared on Instagram Stories.
In the clip, Paltrow wore the brand’s Geiger Wide-Leg Jeans, which currently retail for $177 on Goop (marked down from $295) and run from a size 25 to a size 31, though the pants are sold out in size 31. She kept the rest of the look simple with slicked-back wet hair and a single bracelet.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s name has become synonymous with the “stealth wealth” trend ever since her courtroom style went viral in March of this year. At the time, Paltrow was being sued over a ski crash that happened seven years ago in 2016. The eight-day trial captured the nation’s attention for multiple reasons—from Paltrow’s pithy quips to her hot young lawyer—but it’s fair to say the mogul’s classic neutral wardrobe and collection of chain and pendant necklaces and bracelets stuck with everyone the longest.
Paltrow was ultimately found not liable in Sanderson’s lawsuit and won her symbolic $1 countersuit. “I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity,” she said in her statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”
