When I saw Halle Bailey, I said “now this is how you make a splash at the 2023 Met Gala (pun intended).”
Her pre-promo tour looks left a lot to be desired, but her Oscar gown and now this Gucci halter gown and cape assures us that we need not have worried about ‘The Little Mermaid’ star.
I’m sure some of you screamed “noooooo…” when you saw Halle in this pearlescent, ruffled ensemble, because the aquatic, jellyfish themed look would’ve been the perfect for ‘The Little Mermaid’ world premiere.
Personally, I’m happy, because this tells me that she has something bigger and better planned and I can’t wait.
