Emily Blunt

2023 Met Gala

Michael Kors dressed Emily Blunt, Ashley Park, Kaitlyn Dever, Kerry Washington, Lea Michele and Vanessa Hudgens for the 2023 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in custom Michael Kors Collection looks.

You can always rely on Emily Blunt to be on theme, even if it’s as subtle as the camellia flower.

The British actress always has a story to tell. On this occasion her custom Michael Kors Collection look married feminine elegance with a hint of masculine tailoring perfectly.

Ashley Park

At first glance Ashley Park doesn’t appear to be on theme, but the styling of her custom Michael Kors Collection gown, which features micro-sequins individually stitched in a linear pattern to create a fishnet effect, which kept the look on track.

Kaitlyn Dever

So many people did black and white, with only Burberry going left with their new black and blue signature, so Kaitlyn Dever was the standout on the night wearing this red lace custom Michael Kors Collection strapless gown.

This is so beautiful that I would argue that this might just be a personal best for Kaitlyn.

The camellia flower keeps it on theme.

Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington’s Michael Kors Collection three-piece look can only be regarded as being on theme for designer who favoured lace for the majority of these custom looks.

I would’ve expected this look from the models who attend the Met, but Kerry is always prepared to give us something new.

Lea Michele

Lea Michele appeared to be channelling her inner Barbra Streisand in this custom Michael Kors Collection silver tulle cut-out gown.

Considering the fact that Lea is currently starring as Fanny Brice in ‘Funny Girl,’ I’m sure no one has a problem with her going off track on the theme.

Vanessa Hudgens

Our resident glamour girl Vanessa Hudgens was doing what she does best.

Michael Kors understood the assignment when he designed this cut-out gown accented with camellia flowers to ensure it was on theme.
