Though she has a closet bursting with expensive, high-fashion labels like Versace and Hermès (why have one Birkin when you can have over a dozen), Kim Kardashian opted to dress down in the name of basketball.
On May 8, the Skims founder sat court-side with momager Kris Jenner and fashion designer friend Sarah Staudinger at a Los Angeles Lakers versus Golden State Warriors NBA playoff game, and her cheeky T-shirt caught everyone’s attention.

Kim Kardashian paired a destroyed-on-purpose white T-shirt—complete with a ripped collar—with baggy, destroyed-on-purpose jeans, both of which I’m sure are very expensive, despite their ratty appearance. Kim’s take on the Cool Girl uniform also included heeled sandals, a layered gold choker, and a cross pendant. She slicked her hair back into a sleek ponytail and decided against earrings so her natural glam could could be front and center.
But the basic white tee she wore had an interesting message: “I LOVE NERDS.” Kimmy’s love life post-Kanye has remained shockingly quiet, other than her short-lived relationship with BDE comedian Pete Davidson. Since the couple’s July 2022 split, Kardashian is living the single life, but maybe she’s ready for more.
