I have to say I was surprised when I saw Natalie Portman on the red carpet for ‘The Zone Of Interest’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening.
Not by her presence. I was more surprised by what she was wearing.
Yes. Natalie Portman wearing Dior should come as no surprise, but I was surprised to see her wearing this particular dress, because it has been worn a few times before.
I don’t want to take anything away from this moment, because Natalie looks breath-taking, and I’m delighted to see her wearing a colour other than black when it comes to Dior.
But you might remember that this blue degrade strapless dress from the Dior Fall 2017 collection was first worn by Julia Michaels to the 2017 MTV VMAs, and then Angelababy also wore this dress in 2018 for her Madame Tussauds wax figure unveiling.
Natalie did make it her own by switching it to a strapless dress, and adding the most perfect diamond and sapphire Chopard necklace.
